What is speed puzzling? What’s all the hype?

Speed puzzling has been around for decades. It takes traditional puzzling to a whole new, exciting, adrenaline filled, level. Participants - solo, pairs, or teams - race to put together a puzzle as fast as possible. Typically, the image is unknown ahead of time.

Events may be paid or free, depending on the hosting site.

Casual puzzling is what some of us grew up on and others are just discovering. Some casual puzzling comes with a twist and can include puzzle socials, puzzle chess, puzzle workshops, etc. Typically, these events are free to attend, but check with the hosting site.

Puzzle swapping, exchanging, trading, etc. It is all the same, just has a different name. Puzzlers get together and swap puzzles. Some may drop off puzzles and leave, no need to swap. Others may want to trade. Check the hosting site for details.
